The system of processing prosecutions can be complex. Which is why ITAL has developed a system to make the process more simple and efficient, for the benefit of our customers and their end users.

Right from the initial opening of the case, ITAL’s prosecution software carefully tracks the process from initiation all the way through to the preparation of court results. Our system prepares the necessary contact letters and manages the entire work flow of each case from start to finish, via a web-based system which can be accessed by secure login on any web browser.

Our prosecution software delivers efficiency savings by

  • Decreasing the time spent on prosecution administration, freeing workers up for other tasks
  • Introducing a traffic light system which prompts workers to work on priority cases, reducing the risk of missed opportunities and revenue caused by missed deadlines or lapsed cases
  • Utilising a live reporting tool which gives real-time information for valuable insights and data
  • The use of tag-based letter templates to speed up processing
  • The creation of CSV files for speedier uploading to the LIBRA court management system
  • The use of a bulk management facility, enabling many status changes to be completed at the touch of a button and documentation to be added to multiple cases at the same time.

  • Simplify their approach to the Single Justice Procedure process

IRCAS: Independent Revenue Collection & Support from ITAL

Alongside case management for prosecution cases, IRCAS is also a customer facing website for customers to pay their penalties or unpaid fare, contact customer services or to find out more about their options.

The system offers independence and transparency to the process and is already providing a simplified prosecution service to: TfL Buses, Greater Anglia, South Western Railway, London Overground, Arriva Rail North, London Underground, Chiltern Railways, TfL Rail and DLR.
